April always sucks for me. My brother went full ghost fourteen years ago on April 3. Fucks me up.
April 4, played a rare solo acoustic show down in Lanoka Harbor at Yearbook Records. I recommend that place. Great spot, they've got everything, their prices are great. My friend Mike from Poorman booked it. My other friend Mike videotaped it. You can see the whole thing here. Two Sixteen, Joseph J Wolf, me, and Break Luck. Not my best vocal day, but all gratitude. Not bad for hardly playing guitar since October of 2025. Also not my best work. I took that gig to see if I can even still get through a set. Longest 27 minutes of my life.
I wrote a few new songs so that's cool. Hung and Doomed. Jess Ick Ugh. People's Tramp. I should do an acoustic release soon. The people around me have no idea what to do with a disabled misanthrope who doesn't care about money or clout. I care about expression, and expression only. Bad news is I'm arthritic as fuck, my psoriasis is taking over and I look like a monster. The good news is that I start Skyrizi soon.
