Grace Over Expectations

A friend of mine told me I need to stop expecting people to do what they say they're going to do. Just forget it, I should interact with grace instead of the expectation that anyone's money is where their mouth is. It pissed me off but I needed to hear it. That's a really nice way to live my life. I'm brought to tears when anyone follows through on their word in the most miniscule of ways. Zero expectations. Grace.

Being sober is eye opening. A lot of motherfuckers around me are all talk no action. I've never been so unimpressed. Don't say YES to things you DON'T want to do. People like to say things that make other people feel better about what's going on, but they don't actually mean it. They're just happy to be involved superficially but not meaningfully.

I booked a solo show 4/4/26 at Yearbook Records, 4/17 the Dost is at Wildair, 6/6 show at the House of Trash.... I'm booking stuff so that's awesome.
